I found this short and sweet tag on Thrice Read’s blog back in August. The questions are a lovely way to think about your reading, so give it a go and tag me so I can read your answers!
3 Read once and loved authors
David Nicholls – I loved One Day, so I really want to read more.
Celeste Ng – Everything I Never Told You was so beautifully written that Little Fires Everywhere went straight on my Goodreads To Read list
Agatha Christie – After I read And then there were none, I definitely understood why she’s the Queen of Crime.
3 Titles I’ve watched but haven’t read
The Exorcist – I’ve heard great things about the book, so I really want to get to it.
The Cry – I’m watching the BBC adaptation at the moment and really enjoying it, but I’m not sure if I want to read the book. It doesn’t have great reviews on Goodreads.
My Sister’s Keeper – I really love the film adaptation with Cameron Diaz, but the book keeps getting pushed back on my TBR.
3 Characters you love
Luna Lovegood – She has such confidence in herself and her beliefs, and respects everyone.
Katniss Everdeen – If you ignore the romance parts of THG, we have a great feminist role model. She has such spunk.
Dolores Claiborne – She is a total bitch, but as she says “sometimes, being a bitch is all a woman has to hang on to.”
3 Series Binged
I don’t really read series at all. I think the only ones I’ve ever read (and finished) are Harry Potter, The Hunger Games and I’m currently reading the Cormoran Strike novels.
3 unpopular bookish opinions
I don’t enjoy fantasy – Most people I follow here on WordPress read fantasy, but I just don’t have the energy to learn about whole new worlds and characters with unpronounceable names.
I don’t read classics – Similarly, a lot of people talk about the classics like Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice. Asides from a few Charles Dickens novels, I have no interest in reading classics (as great as I’m sure they are!)
I don’t think audiobooks and physical/e-books are the same – While I believe both are as valuable as the other, they are not the same experience for me. I find audiobooks quite difficult to concentrate on.

3 Book goals for the year
Of course, it’s nearly the end of the year but I do have a few things I would like to do in the final few months.
Complete my Goodreads Reading Challenge – I only have 52 books on my Challenge so if I read a book a week, I should get there.
Take part in Non-Fiction November – I want to read as much non-fiction next month as possible.
Keep up with book blogging – I want to get to the end of the year and still have this blog as an ongoing project.
