Continuing on with Top 5 Tuesday‘s theme of books for the Hogwarts Houses, this week I present books for badgers.
Harry Potter book – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Hufflepuffs are characterised by their hardworking and loyal nature, both of which are themes I see in DH. Hermione and Ron have to be so loyal in the last book to stay by Harry in his difficult journey, which in itself is the most hardworking I think we ever see the trio.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them – Could there be a better book to recommend Hufflepuffs than this beautiful book all about the magical creatures of the HP world? I love the illustrated book especially, it’s gorgeous!
Hate – This book is all about accepting people for who they are, and that a community can come together after something horrific happens to one of their own to fight the prejudice.
Perks of Being a Wallflower – To me, Hufflepuffs are all about friendship, and I’d have loved to be in this group in high school! Hufflepuffs are often pushed to the sides in canon (we’re very loud in the fandom!) so they’re basically a house of wallflowers.
The Midwife’s Confession – This is another book where friendship is so important, I love the relationship between Noelle, Tara and Emerson, and this is just one of the vivid friendships Diane Chamberlain has created.
